Feng Shui Tips for Space Clearing
Sometimes a living or working space needs a bit of clearing out and freshening up. Move into a new home or office? Time to wipe the slate clean energy-wise. At least as best you can... Open the windows. No matter what time of year, occasionally open the windows to freshen up the space. Using a cleanser with a pleasant scent, thoroughly clean the space. Vinegar works fine (if you don't overly dislike the smell) and so does a pine-scented cleaner. Light incense. Walking through the space with burning incense can help flush away negativity. Make lots of noise. Within reason and using common sense, flood the space with loud noises - whether music or drums or bells. Get rid of ugly stuff from the previous owners. Dislike a fixture or some "art?" Sell it or put it away. A reminder that you don't like something will only add to the negativity. Make sure there is enough light - everywhere. Feng Shui is about balance, so having floodlights throughout the place on all the time is just as bad as too much darkness. However a lot of places have dark and creepy corners that never get lit up. Figure out how to occasionally light up "everywhere" in the space. |
