Feng Shui Household Tips Keep the entryway clear. Do not block the entrance to your home with furniture or clutter. Avoid putting pictures of water near the front door. This can cause a "wandering eye" to affect one of the spouses, and can cause the money of the household to run back out the door. Mirrors should not be in front of the main door. This causes any good energy to be reflected back out of the household.
A household should not be too dark nor too bright. Feng Shui is about balance. Bright sunny rooms should also have elements of darkness, and a dark room should occasionally be lit up brightly. Consider the smell of the house as you enter it. The smell should be subtle (if any) and pleasant. Ideally a bathroom and kitchen should not share a wall. Feng Shui can take care of this for you - no need to panic. |
